Job summary

Ekkinox, an affiliate of DRAKKAR, is seeking a dispatcher for our afternoon PM shift in Pointe-Claire, QC. You will coordinate city and highway drivers, plan schedules, and maintain service quality to support our transportation operations.

The role requires at least 2 years of dispatch experience in transportation, strong English and French communication, and proficiency with MS Office; AS400 is a plus. On-site, Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with group insurance after probation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of dispatch experience in transportation.
• Strong English and French communication skills.
• Able to work with customers, drivers, and dispatch teams.
• Knowledge of tractors and trailers and weight restrictions.
• Proficient with MS Office; AS400 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Driver coordination: Schedule and manage PM shift drivers.
• Operations Oversight: Monitor freight deliveries and address exceptions.
• Dispatch drivers per cut-off times and delivery appointments.
• Maintain open communication with all departments.
• Resolve service-related issues from order to delivery.
• Inform drivers of special delivery requirements.
• Perform other dispatch and logistics duties as required.
