Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton is seeking a part-time RECE/DA After School Educator in Dundas, Ontario. The role involves creating developmentally appropriate after-school programs, supervising children, providing snacks, and ensuring safety in a nurturing environment.

We operate full-day early learning and childcare centres for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, along with before and after school extended-day programs for kindergarten and school-aged children at over 27 locations across the Greater Hamilton Area.

Location: Dundana Centre; 23 Dundana Ave,Dundas, ONL9H 4E5
Total Weekly Hours: 16.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants):
As an After School Educator, your primary responsibility is to be present for children and their families while developing and implementing programs that meet their developmental needs and interests. You will create meaningful play experiences, provide healthy snacks, supervise outdoor and indoor activities, and ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care. Duties vary by centre, but your role always includes supporting children, assisting colleagues, and contributing to a welcoming and well-organized environment.
