Job summary

CareRx is seeking an After Hours Pharmacy Assistant L2 to support LTC homes and retirement communities from its Oakville location. The role involves preparing, packaging, and organizing medication deliveries while supporting daily pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.

Ideal candidates have experience with Kroll/eMAR systems and strong attention to detail. The position offers evenings and weekend shifts with flexible benefits and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program is preferred but not required.
• Excellent working knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems (Point Click Care, Catalyst, Med E Care).
• Competency with Microsoft Office software and ability to operate PACMed/PACVision machines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and fill prescriptions using eMAR and Kroll software, including refills and third-party adjudications.
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory, including returns of expired products.
• Prepare and ensure timely delivery of prescriptions and labels to care facilities and retirement homes.
