Insight Global is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Longueuil, QC to hire a Tooling Designer. You will design custom tooling solutions for assembly, alignment, lifting, and fixturing, using CATIA and other CAD tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or DEC in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
1 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design and tooling design.
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specs.
Proficient with CATIA; other CAD tools considered.

Responsibilities

Design custom tooling, fixtures, lifting devices, alignment tools, and assembly aids using CATIA or other 3D CAD software.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather tooling requirements and develop design solutions.
Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
Participate in design reviews and implement feedback from teams.
