This role sits within Laurentian Bank.

The incumbent is responsible for the complete management of various mortgage financing requests. In this capacity, his main mandate is to offer an outstanding customer experience by taking charge of all stages of the mortgage financing process. He / She will also have the role of detecting and developing opportunities in order to participate in business development.

Responsibilities

  • Assists clients in developing the financing strategy best suited to clients' needs
  • Completes efficiently all required mortgage reviews activities; primarily focuses on HOK modifications, HELOC portfolios review, refinancing, etc.
  • Ensures exceptional customer service and follows up with the client at all stages of the mortgage process
  • Ensures compliance with mortgage policies and procedures by keeping mortgage knowledge up to date
  • Monitors and maintains a partnership with the Bank's sectors and all stakeholders
  • Identifies and transfers business development opportunities to the advisor or private banker
  • Supports and contributes to all activities and projects in order to create value for the bank.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of banking/mortgage financing experience, required
  • Advanced knowledge of the mortgage process and products
  • Any other combination of experience and relevant education will also be considered

  • Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
