Job summary

Aviso is seeking a Senior Manager, Advisor Learning & Development to lead a small team and directly contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-impact learning programs for Credit Union Advisors and their teams. The role blends hands-on curriculum work with people leadership to build technical capability and sales effectiveness for delivering comprehensive wealth advice.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Education or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in adult education / learning & development in financial services.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning/advisory or related financial services role is preferred.
• 3-5 years of people management experience with demonstrated success.
• Experience designing and developing learning programs using modern learning techniques.
• Knowledge of LMS capabilities to guide delivery strategies and engage end users.
• CFP, QAFP or PFP (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience with Articulate 360, LMS platforms and knowledge management tools preferred.
• Ability to manage projects within timeframes and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of the advisor curriculum (hands-on).
• Own lifecycle and governance of Academy programs and resources, updating content based on feedback and regulatory changes.
• Improve learning experiences using varied delivery techniques and technologies, and measure effectiveness.
• Lead and coach a team of learning professionals (player/coach) and remove roadblocks.
• Act as a learning consultant to internal partners, diagnosing needs and translating requirements into prioritized plans.
• Ensure compliance and regulatory training requirements for licensed individuals across credit union partners.
