WildPlay is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join their team in Niagara Falls. This seasonal position is crucial as the welcoming face of the parks, responsible for managing guest experiences from reservations to interactions during visits.

The ideal candidate should exhibit a positive attitude, outstanding communication skills, and a readiness to take initiative in a dynamic environment. Training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Flexible scheduling includes both full-time and part-time shifts during the peak season of June to September.

Guest Service Agent

Location: Whirlpool Adventure Course

Summary

Guest Service Agents are the face of WildPlay Parks, playing a crucial role as the welcoming members of our brand and embodying our pride. Our Guest Service Agents exceed guest expectations by consistently providing exceptional service and going above and beyond. With a friendly, confident, and informed approach, they greet our guests, handle reservations, manage check-ins, promote merchandise, and ensure a smooth, efficient arrival and departure at our parks.

To succeed as a Guest Service Agent, you bring a friendly, positive, and energetic attitude to every interaction. You excel at making people feel welcome and use assertive communication skills to meet each guest’s needs. You’re proactive, taking the initiative to complete tasks during quieter times, and a team player who collaborates seamlessly with others during busier times to enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Providing personal service that exceeds guests' expectations
  • Giving correct information regarding elements, products, pricing, access requirements, and promotions
  • Following element-specific procedures when booking or checking-in guests and ensuring that waivers and registration forms are completed correctly
  • Administering reservations, deposits, payments, and collecting required guest information for each visit
  • Assisting guests in merchandise purchases, tracking inventory, and maintaining a clean, attractive, and organized appearance of all areas
  • Maintaining general upkeep of park grounds and buildings
  • Assisting in other areas of operation when needed; may include in-field marketing and sales, guest bookings, retail sales, and the opening and closing procedures of the park
  • At times, acting as our Food & Beverage Attendant, serving and preparing items such as ice cream and other food items to guests.

Work Department

Guest Service Agents fall under the Guest Service Department. They report to the Guest Service Team Leads, and Park Management.

Work Schedule

This is classified as a seasonal position. Our peak season typically runs from June to September depending on the weather and the needs of the business. Specific employee contracts are flexible and adaptable to individual availability.

Guest Service Agents work a flexible schedule of full-time and part-time employment. This includes working evenings, weekends, and holidays, at times.
