Job summary

University Health Network is seeking two Administrative Team Leads for the DRO Administrative Services within the Radiation Oncology Department. The roles report to the DRO Business Manager and will help ensure efficient operations of referral and admin services to support patient care.

The positions require strong supervisory skills, process optimization experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade XII or recognized equivalent required.
• Completion of a recognized medical or business post-secondary office administration diploma program or recognized equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years related office administration support experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working in a health care environment an asset.
• Knowledge of medical terminology an asset.
• Experience leading process optimization or quality improvement activities for a team.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision, enhances staff engagement and capacity building of the DRO Referral & Administrative Teams.
• Develops/maintains Standard of Work, policies and procedures for the DRO Referral & Administrative process operations.
• Supports or leads DRO or RMP projects, including HR processing, as required.
• Manages day-to-day operations in collaboration with other Admin Team Leads and DRO Business Manager.
• Mentors and coaches staff, monitors performance in a collaborative learning environment.
