Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office with advanced Excel knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe and JIRA are assets.
  • Minimum 50 wpm keyboarding speed.

Responsibilities

  • Process renewals and amendments for existing clients.
  • Approve high-level changes including salary increases, NEMs, and enrollment transfers between client ledgers.
  • Create rate table sub-classes as required for employee-specific situations.
  • Manage tasks on the CRM dashboard to ensure timely completion.
  • Complete plan amendments and group terminations.
  • Review amendment paperwork for completeness.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes.

Why This Role Matters

The Administrative Systems Associate is responsible for processing plan amendments, changes and renewals for clients on administration and claims systems.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Calgary office.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • You will process renewals and amendments for existing clients
  • You will completehigh level approvals including but not limited to salary increases, Non-Evidence Maximums increases (NEM), future changes and enrollment transfers between client bills (ledgers) You will create rate table sub-classes as required for employee-specific situations
  • You will manage tasks and cases on the CRM dashboard to complete them in a timely manner
  • You will complete plan amendments
  • You will complete group terminations
  • You will review submitted amendment paperwork to ensure it is complete for processing
  • You will effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders
  • You will contributeto the continuous improvement of business processes
What You Bring to the Table
  • Post-secondary education in an administrative or related field an asset
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in the group benefit industry is required
  • Familiarity with CRM and insurance carriers or benefit administration
  • Microsoft Office. Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge is a positive.
  • Experience with Adobe and JIRA are assets.
  • Minimum 50 wpm keyboarding speed

Compensation

At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $48,000-$53,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass the comprehensive total rewards package that we proudly offer.
