Recovery Alberta is seeking an Administrative Support III to assist clinical staff and physicians at Sheldon Kennedy Centre. You will work collaboratively with programs, maintain confidentiality, and handle scheduling, data entry, mail, health records, and reception.
This casual/relief role requires Grade 12 or equivalent, and may require an Employee Health Review and criminal records check; prior experience in health or mental health settings is preferred.
This is a casual position reporting to the designated manager and is responsible for providing administrative support to the clinical staff and physicians of Children’s Community Addiction & Mental Health. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with all programs and services, maintain positive, professional, and cooperative relationships with internal and external programs, services, and clients. Is accountable for maintaining confidentiality of information. Duties may include scheduling meetings, computer processing of all types of documents, data entry, incoming and outgoing mail management, health records management, receiving visitors and reception functions and attending to high-risk clients, ordering supplies, managing building maintenance requests as well as performing other related duties.
As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Diploma from a recognized Office/Business Administration Program. 2 – 3 years of clerical experience in an organization of significant size and complexity with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Keyboarding of 70 wpm desired. Medical terminology would be an asset. Switchboard experience would be an asset. Experience working in an Addiction and Mental Health setting.
