Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone inquiries from the public and redirect calls.
  • Monitor and code expenditures, prepare and process expenses, invoices, and contracts.
  • Provide team support including equipment and software issue assistance.
  • Compose, record, proofread, and edit correspondence.
  • Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and CVA vehicle logistics.
  • Sort and distribute mail; handle incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Acquire and maintain inventory such as forms, supplies, and equipment.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Opportunity:

The Ministry of Social Services, Program Support in La Loche,is looking for a reliable and positive team player to join the Administrative Services team in our La Loche office. As a person who is energetic, thorough, conscientious, and attentive to detail, you will provide a variety of administrative support to various Ministry programs.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to telephone inquiries from the public and redirect calls.
  • Monitor and code expenditures, and prepare and process business expense forms, invoices, and contracts.
  • Provide support to the team, including assisting with equipment and software issues.
  • Compose, record, proofread, and edit a variety of correspondence.
  • Coordinate and schedule travel, event logistics, meetings, equipment, and CVA vehicles as required.
  • Compile, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Acquire, purchase, and maintain inventory such as forms, office supplies, and equipment.
