Job summary

Northern Health is seeking an Administrative Coordinator, Specialized Services to join our team and support reporting, projects and program development in a progressive health care setting. The role offers an opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a positive culture.

In this 1.0 FTE position, you will provide confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Specialized Services and coordinate activities for the Executive Director, enabling timely, accurate operations

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Administrative Management or a related discipline.
  • Three (3) years to five (5) recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Position Summary

Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking an Administrative Coordinator, Specialized Services to join Northern Health.

The Administrative Coordinator, Specialized Services provides direct administrative and secretarial support to the Specialized Services and is responsible to ensure and support effective and timely coordination of key functions for reporting, projects, and program development. The position is also responsible for coordinating, organizing and providing confidential administrative and project coordination and support for the Executive Director, Specialized Services.

The salary range for this position is $58,494 (min) to $73,117 (midpoint) to $76,773 (max) per annum, based on 1.0 FTE. Northern Health typically establishes salaries within the minimum and midpoint of the salary range based on qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.

Qualfications
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Administrative Management or a related discipline.
  • Three (3) years to five (5) recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to type 60 words per minute.
  • Excellent computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability or organize work, set priorities, and be results-orientated.
  • Ability to function with little or no supervision and to handle pressure with a varied workload.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships with staff and work effectively with senior leaders and other organizations.
  • Ability to adapt and learn other database and reporting applications as required (e.g., REDCap).
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
