Job summary

Brush Dental (Renfrew Street) in Vancouver is seeking a full-time Dental Administrator to join our two vibrant locations. You will greet patients, optimize the appointment schedule, and maintain accurate patient records with a friendly, professional approach.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of administration experience.
  • Clinical background and experience with Cleardent dental software considered an asset.
  • Cantonese fluency is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive and create a positive first impression.
  • Optimize the appointment schedule to keep the day full with minimal gaps.
  • Effectively manage recall systems and accurately maintain the patient database.
  • Handle patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations.
  • Process referral letters and file all patient records and charts.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Thursday 9:15 - 6:15

  • Friday 9:00 - 5:15

  • 1 hour for lunch

The wage range is from $28.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate's work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them

  • Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps

  • Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database

  • Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations

  • Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts

About You:
  • Minimum 3 year of administration experience

  • Clinical background and experience with Cleardent dental software programs considered an asset

  • Cantonese fluency is a strong asset.
