Job summary

Crowe MacKay LLP is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant in Sechelt to join our Vancouver-area team. This full-time role reports to the Office Manager and supports front-line client service, reception, calendar management, records, and client deliverables.

You will coordinate office communications, prepare reports and correspondence, process payments and maintain supplies. A positive, team-oriented attitude and proficiency with MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year office experience in a support role.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience.
  • Reception or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional front-line client service and reception support.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and office communications.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and business documentation.
  • Prepare, assemble, and finalize financial statements and client deliverables.
  • Process client payments and maintain related records.
  • Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and workspace organization.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and professional correspondence.
  • Support partners, managers, and staff with administrative and operational needs.
  • Contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of a professional accounting office.

Our Vancouver office is currently seeking a full-time experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role reports directly to Office Manager. The successful candidate will be a career-focused Administrative Assistant that is excited to join a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial firm.

The Crowe MacKay Sechelt office is highly trained and knowledgeable in financial analysis, and estate planning. They focus on a large variety of accounting services for businesses in a variety of industries from technology to servicing Vancouver’s unique startup community and tech hub; financing support of franchises and businesses in the food and beverage industry; to tax-structure and corporate financial planning for the aviation and natural-resources industries. The Role

What You Will Bring
  • Minimum one year office experience in support role
  • Minimum one year customer service experience
  • Prior reception or administrative experience preferred

  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Professional and courteous manner in dealing with internal and external clients

  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Previous experience in public practice or other professional services environment considered an asset
