Job summary

Crunch is seeking a Payroll Administrator to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, with hands-on ADP experience. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days in our Cambridge, ON HQ and supports employees with pay-related inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3+ years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of Canadian payroll rules, and a detail-oriented, professional approach to payroll discrepancies and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of payroll administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP (Workforce Now or similar platform preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll on a bi-weekly/semi-monthly basis using ADP.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in ADP.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy prior to processing.
  • Manage statutory deductions, including taxes, CPP, and EI.
  • Prepare and process ROEs, T4s, and year-end payroll activities.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of all employees.
  • Work with supporting platforms to manage onboarding and offboarding of all employees.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with employment standards and company policies.
  • Support audits and provide payroll reporting as required.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in our fun Crunch HQ office in Cambridge, ON.


This position is currently a one year contract, with the potential to expand to a permanent role!
