Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree with a major in mathematical, statistical, actuarial sciences and/or computing sciences.
• Completion of three or more exams towards attainment of A.S.A. or A.C.A.S. designation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
• Strong computer programming knowledge in SQL is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of actuarial computer systems.
• Test and implement actuarial techniques for claim benefit liabilities.
• Provide analysis for research, planning, and program development.
• Participate in department-wide and other major projects.
