Job summary

Vaco is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist in Mississauga to support invoice processing, collections, and account reconciliation. You will collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Order Entry, and Credit Manager to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.

The role involves posting payments, maintaining dealer/customer records, reviewing aging reports, and assisting with annual audits. Proficiency in reconciling balances and communicating with internal teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer collections and follow up on outstanding balances
• Review and initiate daily invoice processing
• Distribute monthly customer statements
• Post and apply customer payments (cheque, EFT, credit card)
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Order Entry, and the Credit Manager to resolve issues
• Escalate unresolved collections matters when necessary
• Monitor AR aging reports and collection metrics
• Perform dealer credit evaluations and establish credit terms
• Maintain customer records and account information
• Process credit memos for approval
• Track and manage dealer tax exemption certificates
• Support annual audit requests and documentation
