Job summary

EllisDon is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Fort Saskatchewan to lead the AP team, oversee electronic workflow payments, and support month-end close with accruals. You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and mentor team members to ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in payables, a related degree, and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team on high-volume, multi-project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in construction.
• Degree or diploma in a related field required.
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-project payables environment.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, IF statements) expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the electronic workflow payment process and AP operations.
• Assist with vendor account reconciliations and payments.
• Mentor and support members of the accounts payable team.
• Assist month end close activities including accruals.
• Develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
• Identify and implement process improvements in AP.
