Job summary

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to process payables, including cheques and EFTs, and to support the accounting team with journal entries and credit card transactions. The role requires a post-secondary accounting diploma and at least one year of related experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

A hybrid work arrangement may be considered after probation, and successful candidates will provide a Criminal Record

Qualifications

• Post secondary diploma in accounting or equivalent.
• 1 year of related accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounts payable tasks including vendor invoices and payments.
• Prepare and process payments (cheques, EFTs) and maintain records.
• Enter journal entries and credit card transactions, with proper documentation.
