Job summary

Waterstone Human Capital is representing a well-established organization in Toronto seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the finance team on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on accurate invoicing, coding to GL accounts, and timely CAD/USD payments.

Candidates should have accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, and clear communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is preferred; a finance degree is a plus, but relevant experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to work.
• Ability to manage high volume in a deadline-driven environment.
• Clear communication skills and a willingness to ask questions.
• Basic to intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills; ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and expense reports accurately and on time.
• Review and code invoices to the correct GL accounts and cost centers.
• Process CAD and USD payments.
• Serve as a point of contact for AP questions from internal teams and vendors.
• Investigate and resolve AP discrepancies.
