Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist in Alberta to support data entry and records management. You will collaborate with industry experts and teams to optimize our accounts payable program, ensuring accurate matching of invoices, POs, and receivers for timely payments.

Responsibilities include data entry, resolving vendor inquiries, assisting with payment status, and supporting check runs. A high school diploma and 2+ years AP experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in accounts payable required.
• High attention to detail and strong organization skills.
• Developing analytical and investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry for accounts payable vouchers, invoices, bills and expenses.
• Support vendor and subcontractor inquiries regarding accounts payable.
• Assist with inquiries and payment status questions as needed.
• Assist with check running activities and auditing to meet weekly deliverable deadlines.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and file records.
• Match invoices, purchase orders and receivers prior to payment distribution.
• Match invoices to checks prior to signing and ensure each check has appropriate support.
• Check run processing support.
