Responsibilities

• Process all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, job costings, and invoices.
• Ensure purchase orders and invoices are properly approved before processing.
• Maintain records of invoices, reports, and receipts per policy.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Maintain and manage accounting records, including credit card reconciliations.
• Monitor the Accounts Payable Aging report.
• Verify vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support general office administrative duties as needed.

Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Bolton, ON (on-site) Salary: $60,000 -$65,000

Our client is a growing organization delivering residential, commercial, and equipment rental/servicing projects, known for its focus on quality, creativity, and integrity.

They are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to process, track, and record payments accurately and on time as part of their accounting team. This is a great fit for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a couple of years of experience who's comfortable working across purchase orders, job costings, and vendor accounts in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Process all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, job costings, and invoices
• Ensure purchase orders and invoices are properly approved before processing
• Maintain records of all invoices, reports, and receipts in accordance with company policy
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments
• Maintain and manage accounting records, including credit card reconciliations
• Monitor the Accounts Payable Aging report
• Verify vendor accounts and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
• Support general office administrative duties as needed

What You Bring

• University bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in MS Excel and advanced competency in accounting software
