Job summary

Premier Equipment is the largest John Deere dealership in Ontario, seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage vendor invoices, payments, and GL reconciliations. You will help maintain organized financial records and ensure policy compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in AP, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this role in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable or related accounting role.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy.
• Ability to solve moderately complex problems and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
• Ensure all transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare and process batches of vendor invoices for payment.
• Coordinate weekly vendor cheque runs and online payments.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Perform basic to intermediate general ledger analysis and reconciliations.
• Maintain an organized filing system for all accounts payable documents.
• Protect the confidentiality and security of all financial information.
• Support other accounting duties and projects as required.
