Job summary

WestJet is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator in Calgary to manage the end-to-end AP cycle for designated units. The role requires in-person collaboration up to five days a week and adherence to established policies to ensure accurate payments and data integrity.

You will process invoices, resolve exceptions, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders while contributing to process improvements and ad-hoc projects within a strong control environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong grasp of basic accounting principles and Canadian taxes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (O365) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify and process high volumes of invoices in a timely manner.
• Process invoices in compliance with finance policies and procedures.
• Resolve invoice exceptions or queries with suppliers and internal partners.
• Manage AP aging, credit balances, refunds, and adjustments; apply corrections.
