Job summary

Frontiers North Adventures in Winnipeg, MB seeks an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the Accounting and Finance team. You will manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records across multiple departments.

Reporting to the Controller, you will help uphold internal controls, respond to vendor inquiries, and support month-end close in a hospitality-driven, seasonal business.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in accounting or related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, or seasonal business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and goods/services received.
• Enter invoices and payments into accounting software and maintain AP records.
• Prepare weekly payment batches and supporting documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding status and timelines.
• Assist with month-end close and internal controls.
