Job summary

Doman Building Materials Group in Vancouver, BC is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to process a high volume of invoices in a collaborative team environment.

You will review unusual invoices, code and enter data, match receipts, and work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager to resolve issues with accuracy and timeliness. Strong English communication and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduation is a requirement
• Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred
• Experience with full-cycle accounting is an asset

Responsibilities

• Match receipts to supplier invoices
• Data entry of supplier invoices (approx. 1,000/month)
• Code and data entry for high-volume freight invoices
• Assist with filing/scanning/photocopying for AP
• Sort and distribute AP invoices
• Investigate supplier questions and field inquiries
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts as required
• Perform cost analysis
• Process employee expense reports
