BoyneClarke in Dartmouth, NS is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a six-person team within the Finance group. You’ll optimize operations, support financial reporting, and help implement a new accounting system.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team management.
• CPA designation required or in progress.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

BOYNECLARKE is seeking a thoughtful and people-focused Accounting Manager to join their Finance team. In this newly created leadership role, you’ll manage a team of six accounting professionals and play a key role in optimizing operations, supporting financial reporting, and helping implement a new accounting system.

As a trusted partner to the Director of Finance, you’ll lead with empathy and accountability, fostering team performance, refining processes, and bringing structure and clarity to a high-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to a team of six
• Strengthen internal processes, workflows, and financial controls

• Contribute to the firm’s upcoming system implementation and process transformation

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team management
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Comfort managing diverse personalities with professionalism and empathy
• A CPA designation (or working towards one) is required
• Professional services experience is a bonus, not a must
