Job summary

Touchmark is seeking an accounting professional for a Controller / Accounting Manager role in Canada. The candidate should hold a degree or diploma in accounting and have at least five years of progressively responsible experience, including expertise with payroll systems and various accounting software.

CPA designation or progress toward it is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong forecasting abilities, effective communication, confidentiality, and a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, evaluate and analyze financial statements.

• Prepare monthly budgets and forecast.
• Oversee preparation of full cycle payroll.

We are seeking an accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic environment! Our organization has an exciting opportunity for an individual with a degree or diploma in accounting as well as a minimum of five years of experience.

The successful individual will have the following:

• A minimum of five years progressively responsible experience. Equivalencies may be considered for this position
• Experience with different accounting and payroll systems along with the aptitude to learn new programs

• The ability to accurately plan and forecast financial statements

• Possess a CPA designation or be working towards one
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting
