We are seeking a talented Accounting Manager to join our team for the Accelera by Cummins division in Mississauga, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions.
• Review and validate general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Address inquiries from management, auditors, and regulatory bodies with precise financial insights.
• Regularly assess and enhance internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
• Apply new accounting standards effectively and ensure compliance.
• Train and support staff, promoting continuous learning and development.

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or similar certification.
• Significant supervisory experience.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow and oversee cash management activities.
• Review and ensure accuracy of tax filings, collaborating with KPMG on tax returns and provisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CGA certification preferred.
