Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, ideally in an operational or supervisory role.
• Solid knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, month-end closings, and inventory.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Manage monthly and annual closings, accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze variances and track significant changes.
• Oversee inventory accounting, valuation and fixed asset tracking.
• Manage intercompany transactions and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax and payroll accounting.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Collaborate on external audits and provide required documentation.
• Improve accounting procedures, internal controls and reporting processes.
