Job summary

HR Path Group is seeking an experienced accounting professional to evolve and modernize the Finance function across North America, reporting to the CFO. You will support accounting operations, resolve complex issues, and drive automation to increase efficiency and scalability.

The role requires strong SAP expertise, 8+ years in relevant fields, and a track record of improving finance processes. English communication is essential; French is a plus, with hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Accounting, Finance Operations, Project Accounting, or Finance Transformation.
• Strong hands-on accounting knowledge with experience supporting financial close processes.
• Experience with SAP is required and highly preferred.
• Experience improving accounting and finance processes and implementing ERP/PSA or financial management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a plus.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Act as a key accounting resource for the Finance team and assist with reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Lead initiatives to simplify, standardize, and improve Finance processes.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Improve integration and data flows between Finance, project accounting, billing, and reporting systems.
• Leverage SAP, Power BI, Power Automate, and Copilot to modernize Finance operations.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to implement practical and scalable solutions.

YOUR MISSIONS

HR Path is looking for an experienced accounting professional to help evolve and modernize our Finance function across North America.

Reporting to the CFO, this role combines strong accounting expertise with a passion for process improvement, systems, and automation. You will serve as a key resource for the Finance team, supporting accounting operations, helping resolve complex accounting issues, improving processes, and driving automation initiatives that increase efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Act as a key accounting resource for the Finance team and assist with complex accounting matters, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Lead initiatives to simplify, standardize, and improve Finance processes.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Improve integration and data flows between Finance, project accounting, billing, and reporting systems.
• Leverage technologies such as SAP, Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft Copilot to modernize Finance operations.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to implement practical and scalable solutions.

YOUR PROFILE

• 8+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance Operations, Project Accounting, or Finance Transformation.
• Strong hands-on accounting knowledge and experience supporting financial close processes.
• Strong SAP experience required.
• Experience improving accounting and finance processes.
• Experience with ERP, PSA, or financial management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, or similar technologies is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French language proficiency is a plus.
