HR Path is seeking a Project Accounting & PSA Analyst to join our Finance team in Toronto. You will ensure contracts and SOWs are configured in PSA to support billing, revenue recognition, and project profitability, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance.

You will configure projects, billing structures, rates, milestones, and revenue recognition elements, support monthly close and reconciliations, and act as the Finance SME for PSA and SAP integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and relevant work experience.
• 3-6 years in project accounting or revenue accounting.
• Strong understanding of project-based accounting and PSA/SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, SOWs, and change orders and translate them into project financial setups within the PSA system.
• Configure projects, billing structures, rates, milestones, and revenue recognition elements.
• Support monthly revenue recognition and project accounting activities.
• Review WIP, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and project balances.
• Reconcile data between the PSA system and SAP and resolve discrepancies.
• Act as a Finance subject matter expert for the PSA platform.
• Support users, maintain data integrity, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Project Managers and Operations to ensure accurate financial management of projects.

YOUR MISSIONS

The Project Accounting & PSA Analyst is a key link between Finance, Operations, and Project Delivery. This role ensures client contracts and SOWs are accurately configured in the PSA system to support billing, revenue recognition, project profitability, and financial reporting.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance to ensure project data is accurate, financial processes are aligned, and reporting is reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review contracts, SOWs, and change orders and translate them into project financial setups within the PSA system.
• Configure projects, billing structures, rates, milestones, and revenue recognition elements.
• Support monthly revenue recognition and project accounting activities.
• Review WIP, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, and project balances.
• Reconcile data between the PSA system and SAP and resolve discrepancies.
• Act as a Finance subject matter expert for the PSA platform.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in project accounting, revenue accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of project-based accounting and revenue recognition.
• Experience with PSA, ERP, or project accounting systems.
• Experience with Projector PSA and/or SAP is an asset.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with both Finance and Operations teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French language proficiency is a plus.
