This position involves performing general accounting duties related to the full payable cycle, posting cash receipts, and following up with customers on outstanding invoices.

Reports To: Cash Supervisor

Essential Functions:

1. Matching, coding, inputting, and filing A/P invoices
2. Processing cheque runs, generating payments, and resolving vendor issues
3. Contacting customers daily on outstanding receivable invoices
4. Posting payments received in ERP system and reconciling cash receipts versus invoice amounts
5. Updating invoices and supporting documents via customer portals
6. Maintaining customer master files
7. Generating accounts receivable reports and updating spreadsheets
8. Performing month-end accounting activities
9. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Related post-secondary diploma in Accounting/Business
• Minimum of two years accounting experience
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel skills required)
• Knowledge of JDE is an asset
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
