Client Profile

Our client, a reputable Toronto firm, is currently looking for an Accounting Administrator. This firm has an excellent culture and offers significant career development opportunities.

  • A boutique law firm specializing in Labour and Employment Law.
  • Office conveniently located in Toronto's Financial District.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage collections by pursuing outstanding payments for client accounts, primarily through email and phone communication. Maintain client records and detailed notes to effectively manage this task.
  • Set up new clients for e-billing, manage monthly electronic bills, generate bills in LEDES format, and submit them to the client's e-billing platform. Track bill statuses, identify issues, and collaborate to resolve failed submissions and deductions. Handle additional related duties as needed.
  • Open, modify, and close files and matters according to firm policy.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries.
  • Assist with other duties as required.
Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a law firm.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience with legal billing and accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
