Our client, a respected non‑profit organization, is seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Accounting/Administrative Clerk to join their team on a part‑time basis. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Process and maintain accurate invoicing records, ensuring timely billing and payment tracking
- Support financial administration activities, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and record maintenance
- Manage inventory records, monitor stock levels, and assist with inventory control processes
- Coordinate and respond to communications from local leagues, association members, and league presidents in a professional and timely manner
- Provide exceptional member services by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and delivering ongoing administrative support
- Maintain accurate financial, inventory, and membership databases to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency
- Assist with general office administration and support organizational activities as required
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and effective communication
- Prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence related to finance, inventory, and member services
- Contribute to a positive member experience by providing responsive, courteous, and solution‑oriented support
Required skills and qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist, administrative support, or office coordination role
- Previous experience using QuickBooks Desktop is required
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a bilingual environment
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;fluency in both English and French is considered a significant asset
Monday to Friday – 3 days a week (with the potential for 4 days in the future) – 8:00am to 4:00pm
Wage: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience
