Job summary

Vaco is seeking a tech-savvy accountant in the Greater Toronto Area to perform full customer account reconciliations for large, complex accounts with sizeable dollar balances. You will manage multiple invoices, entities, and billing arrangements and explain variances clearly to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring extensive experience reconciling high-volume customer accounts, strong communication, and a track record of managing complex billing structures across locations.

About the Opportunity

Full customer account reconciliation

• Reconcile the entire customer account, not just individual invoices.
• Compare invoices, payments, credits, adjustments, unapplied cash, and outstanding balances.
• Be able to explain exactly why a customer's balance is what it is.
• Identify discrepancies and determine what needs to be corrected.

Large enterprise/customer accounts

• Experience dealing with large, complex customer accounts.
• Comfortable working with sizeable dollar balances.
• Ideally someone who has managed accounts with multiple invoices, entities, contracts, locations, or billing arrangements.

Pay Range

$30 - $39 per hour

This position for employment is for a current vacancy with Vaco/Highspring’s client.

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
