Base pay range

CA$60,000.00/yr - CA$90,000.00/yr

They are continuously growing and looking to add an Account Sales Executive to their team. We are looking for an account executive who has experience in transportation (3pl) and comes with a book of business. Job Details

Territory: North America (some Intl)

Work Place: Remote but must be local to the greater Montreal area

Products/Services: 3PL transportation services

Commissions/Bonus: 8% on gross profit

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses are reimbursed

Other Benefits: Full benefits package (50% paid by the employer)

Functions
  1. Prospect and identify new business opportunities
  2. Maintain existing business and focus on growing the account
  3. Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs)
  4. Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies
  5. Establish a pipeline of potential customers through networking, cold calling, referrals, and other sales tactics
  6. Prepare and present our solutions
  7. Meet or exceed sales targets
  8. Keep up-to-date records within our CRM of suspects and prospects
  9. Build long-term relationships
Requirements
  1. Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%
  2. Road vs Office: 90% vs 10%
  3. Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent of education and work experience in the transportation industry
  4. Training: Training will be provided by the employer
  5. Overnight Travel: Little to none
  6. Years of experience: 2-5 years in a similar role
  7. Other requirements:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proven experience in 3PL freight brokerage sales
