Job summary

Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) is seeking an Account Manager, Ticket Sales and Services to drive ticket sales and fan engagement for the Ottawa REDBLACKS and Ottawa 67’s. The role is full-time, on-site at TD Place in Ottawa and reports to the Head of Ticket Sales.

You will execute sales plans, grow the fan base, manage key accounts, and support events. A post-secondary sports business degree is a plus, with 0–2 years in sales and strong communication skills preferred.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Sports Business Management is considered an asset.
  • 0–2 years in a direct sales or relationship management role is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume sales and services environment.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability and eagerness to work through sales prospecting including handling sales calls, identifying opportunities and objections.
  • Knowledge of the sales process including cold calling and face-to-face selling techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly motivated with a preference to working in a high-paced environment.
  • CRM (Salesforce) experience considered an asset.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Execute individual and/or group ticket sales and service plans focused on new fan acquisition, pro-active servicing and account growth.
  • Grow the Ottawa REDBLACKS and Ottawa 67’s fan base by selling and servicing existing group ticketing packages and programs.
  • Manage existing book of REDBLACKS and 67’s group sales accounts through the execution of our ticket sales and service plan.
  • Enhance season seat member experience through pro-active sales and service strategies.
  • Grow existing book of business through referrals, product add-ons, upgrades and cross selling other OSEG properties.
  • Utilize traditional and non-traditional sales tactics to promote and sell ticket packages to consumers. Including cold calling, email, text and digital strategies.
  • Grow, nurture and convert qualified leads by connecting fans with our various ticketing products.
  • Manage customer relationship touch points, sales pipelines and opportunities through Salesforce.
  • Provide support at games, events and activations for sales team and other departments.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Job description

Reporting to the Head of Ticket Sales, the Account Manager, Ticket Sales and Services will be a high performing, sales and service professional, focused on the creation and delivery of the best sports and entertainment experience in the Greater Ottawa/Gatineau area. Our sales professionals work closely with members of our Sports Business Operations team (Business Intelligence, Brand & Content, Digital Marketing) to drive our fan engagement and conversion strategies.

This full-time, permanent role has an annual salary of $45,000 plus commission, with 100% employer-paid benefits. This is a replacement position and requires to work fully on-site.

What you’ll do:
