Job description

Job Summary:

The Account Manager - Life Sciences will provide support for customers of Surescripts within the growing vertical of Life Sciences. The Account Manager will work directly with clients to understand their business needs and challenges, influence adoption and utilization of our products and services, address business issues, provide reporting to show valuable insights, and advance planned goals and strategy. They will be responsible for growth, retention, and customer satisfaction within their client group, collaborating with teams such as Sales, Customer Support, Product Innovation, Data & Analytics, Marketing, and Finance to drive results.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective relationships with customers and solicit feedback for internal improvements.
  • Assess client needs proactively and build a roadmap to address them.
  • Translate customer needs into service requirements.
  • Ensure customers understand the benefits of Surescripts products to drive adoption and utilization.
  • Share understanding of clients' strategic plans with internal teams.
  • Protect, retain, and grow the customer base.
  • Identify growth opportunities through lead generation.
  • Increase utilization and adoption of products and services.
  • Prepare and conduct account reviews to evaluate demands and utilization.
  • Propose business enhancements to improve efficiency and growth.
  • Coordinate pilots and early adoption initiatives.
  • Escalate customer concerns as needed.
  • Train and educate other Account Managers.
  • Attend internal meetings and conferences as required.
Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in account management or customer success.
  • 3+ years in Life Science Patient Service / Access or HUB experience.
  • Experience as the main contact for customer accounts, building relationships, driving revenue, ensuring satisfaction, collaborating across teams, leading meetings, and working with complex product suites.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and CRM tools like Salesforce.

Travel: Some U.S. travel for meetings and conferences.

Work Environment & Benefits:

Surescripts offers a Flexible Hybrid Work model, allowing virtual work with office collaboration as needed. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $103,800 annually, with benefits including healthcare, paid time off, pet insurance, 401(k), and more.
