Job Title: Account Manager (Canadian Region)
We are seeking a sales professional to serve as an Account Manager within the Canadian Region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Focus on generating new business and uncovering new opportunities using sales expertise.
- Ensure sales growth by identifying and developing new prospects to contribute to corporate sales goals.
- Align with and contribute towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Act as the key interface between the customer and Samco Corporate Office in Toronto, Canada.
- Manage long, complex sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously.
- This is a remote position requiring extensive travel.
- Participate in trade shows and exhibitions.
- Collaborate effectively with the entire team.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with capital equipment sales.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-up capabilities.
- Effective negotiation and objection handling skills during the proposal process.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with warm calling potential leads.
- Strong online presence, including social media and LinkedIn, with a drive to connect and engage.
- Experience selling to multiple decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Professionalism and good judgment.
- Strong work ethic, commitment, and a competitive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to travel.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales and account management experience.
- Successful in attaining and maintaining key accounts.
