Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Manager for our Mississauga Office who comes with a logistic established book of business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating revenue, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving sales growth. In this role, you will leverage your existing client base while also identifying new business opportunities, expanding market reach, and contributing to the overall sales strategy. If you're a self-starter with excellent negotiation skills and a passion for delivering results, we want you to join our team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Leverage Existing Book of Business :
  • Utilize your established client relationships to drive immediate sales and revenue growth.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within your existing accounts to maximize revenue.
  • New Business Development :
  • Proactively identify and pursue new clients and markets to expand the company’s customer base.
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to target and acquire new clients (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.).
  • Sales Strategy & Execution :
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our products / services.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring all deals are in line with company policies and profitability goals.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis :
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the sales and marketing teams to refine product offerings, sales strategies, and positioning.
  • Client Management & Retention :
  • Ensure a seamless post-sale experience by collaborating with customer service and operations teams to guarantee successful implementation and ongoing client support.
  • Provide regular updates to sales management on pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and account development.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams :
  • Work closely with management, operations, customer service teams to deliver a seamless experience to clients.
  • Share customer feedback and insights with product teams to help refine solutions and service offerings.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative with an established book of business, preferably in Logistics, Transportation and Brokerage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to succeed in a competitive market.
  • Experience with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in Logistics, Transportation and Brokerage is a must.
  • A network of established relationships within the industry.
