Job description

The Account Manager is responsible for the daily management and accounting functions of a portfolio of clients that can include insurance entities, captives, and reinsurance pools. This role provides financial monitoring and control, ensures regulatory compliance, and serves as a consulting, advisory, and managerial position.

We will count on you to:
  1. Prepare or perform technical review of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, Statutory, or IFRS
  2. Ensure all financial aspects of the client are efficiently managed
  3. Possess technical ability to discuss regulatory updates with clients
  4. Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, prospects, client teams, other service providers, regulators, and colleagues
  5. Manage financial audit process with auditors, adhering to client deadlines and regulatory reporting
  6. Review financial statements
What you need to have:
  • An internationally recognized professional accounting designation, such as CA, ACCA, ACA, or CP
  • CPA designation or enrollment is an asset, or 2 years of accounting experience including financial statement preparation, working paper files, and GL
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting
