Job summary

Bartle & Gibson is seeking a driven Outside/Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The role emphasizes building lasting relationships, meeting clients across the region, and identifying opportunities to exceed sales targets.

You will provide product information, quotes, and follow up on opportunities, travel within the region to service accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' sales experience (counter sales, inside sales, or outside sales) required.
• Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing industry or background in plumbing products would be an asset.
• Acceptable Driver's Abstract required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and process incoming calls, orders, and sales transactions.
• Enter, manage, and close orders within the system.
• Provide product information, pricing quotations, and follow up on quoted opportunities.
• Contact existing customers to identify new product opportunities, promote additional solutions, and generate up-selling opportunities.
• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, opening new accounts, and expanding the customer base.
• Build, develop, and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with order processing, product availability, pricing, deliveries, and overall service.
• Travel within the region to service existing accounts and develop new business opportunities, as required.
