The Account Executive (AE) role in Zyte is a business-critical position. It drives new business acquisition and top-line revenue growth. The sales team is target-oriented, aiming to achieve monthly and quarterly booking and invoice objectives while strategically growing in key areas.

In this role, you will work with a team including a Sales Manager, Business Development Reps, and Solutions Architects. Your main responsibility is to acquire new business in net new accounts, progressing SQLs from BDRs through the sales cycle to closure, and creating opportunities via outbound campaigns targeting strategic prospects. Your goal is to understand customer needs and align Zyte products as the best fit, providing feedback on lead quality and conversion rates.
Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Possess significant outbound sales experience.
- Generate appointments via email, phone, social media, and networking.
- Proactively contact strategic prospects to create opportunities.
- Use strong selling skills to close deals.
- Follow up promptly and document results.
- Qualify customers through detailed questioning.
- Forecast your sales pipeline using Zyte’s sales methodology.
- Maintain high standards in CRM documentation.
- Attend customer meetings and conferences as needed.
Additional Requirements:
- 3+ years in outbound sales.
- Proven ability to meet/exceed sales quotas.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Effective team player.
- Analytical, organized, with high attention to detail.
- Experience with Account-Based Marketing initiatives.
- Knowledge of web crawling/data harvesting is a plus.
- Experience selling SaaS/PaaS to enterprise accounts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creative, proactive, and commercially aware.
- Skilled in sales analytics and pipeline management.
