Position Overview
CMS Mechanical is currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our Mechanical Service team. Reporting directly to the Service Manager this role will play a key part in supporting our plumbing and HVAC service operations. The Account Manager will assist in managing client accounts, coordinating service work, and contributing to new business development.
We are looking for a CMS team member with excellent communication skills, technical understanding of mechanical services, and a client-focused mindset who is interested in advancing their career with this position.
Client Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients and assist Service Manager with client inquiries or issues.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
- Coordinate service delivery to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor service agreements and contracts, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
Service Support
- Assist the Service Manager in coordinating and scheduling plumbing and HVAC service work.
- Collaborate with field technicians and service coordinators to ensure efficient workflow.
- Help manage work orders, service tickets, and maintenance records using Jonas e-mobile platform.
- Identify opportunities for service improvements or upselling additional services based on client needs.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Support the development of proposals and quotes for service work.
Applicant Requirements
- Ability to discuss plumbing and HVAC systems and convey technical expertise concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to provide solutions and work within a high pressure environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and administrative teams.
- High proficiency in Outlook, Word and ability to learn new systems (Jonas E Mobile).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client visits.
