Job summary

Vista Radio in Duncan, BC is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our sales team. You will build lasting client relationships, create integrated campaigns across radio, digital and social media, and drive revenue through creative outreach.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, self-motivated, and comfortable in a commission-based environment with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. A valid driver’s license is required and you’ll work in a fast-paced, community-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, marketing, business or communications preferred; entrepreneurial backgrounds welcomed.
• Must be comfortable in a commission-based structure.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage integrated marketing campaigns combining radio, digital, and social media solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with a client portfolio and identify growth opportunities.
• Prospect and develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and creative outreach.
• Develop customized marketing proposals and advertising solutions tailored to client objectives.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Manage account receivables and maintain excellent customer service throughout the client relationship.
• Participate in projects as required.

About the Job:

Vista Radio has an immediate opening for a full-time Account Executive, based in Duncan, BC.

Compensation

This role includes an uncapped, performance-based commission structure. We offer one of the most competitive commission plans in the Canadian media industry, giving high performers the opportunity to significantly exceed their earnings. Sales team members start with a guaranteed commission to ensure they are focused on learning the Vista way. In addition to regular commissions, you\'ll also have the opportunity to earn annual performance bonuses and additional incentives tied to specific sales initiatives.

What you\'ll do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with a client portfolio while identifying opportunities to grow their business

What You Bring

• Education in sales, marketing, business, or communications preferred; entrepreneurial backgrounds are welcomed
• Previous sales experience is an asset; media sales experience is a bonus (we\'ll train the right person!)
• Comfortable working within a commission-based compensation structure
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities
