Job Description

As an Account Director, your primary role is to deliver results for our clients. You will use data to inform all decisions and oversee the full implementation of plans from strategy to online and offline execution. You will lead a cross-functional team of performance media specialists to deliver successful digital-led integrated campaigns. You will also be the senior client lead, managing communication with senior marketing leaders across various lines of business.

Responsibilities
  • Leading a cross-functional team of performance media specialists to deliver successful digital-led integrated campaigns.
  • Developing strong partnerships with senior client stakeholders to advance key projects, improve workflows, and understand their business deeply.
  • Proactively improving processes for smoother and more effective operations.
  • Continuously optimizing accounts and seeking ways to enhance campaign activity and marketing effectiveness.
  • Planning and executing strategies aligned with marketing objectives, budget, and timelines based on client briefs.
  • Creating innovative strategies and tactical plans to drive brand and product acquisition.
  • Allocating budgets across media channels and developing media mix scenarios for strategic media plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with finance requirements, including budget pacing and forecast adherence.
  • Mentoring team members and conducting semi-annual reviews for development opportunities.
  • Supporting leadership to implement best practices and thought leadership within the portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience, especially in digital and performance media.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in a data-driven marketing environment.
  • Deep understanding of online and offline channels such as video, programmatic, social media, paid search, TV, radio, and OOH.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and embrace opportunities.
  • Quantitative and analytical skills with a balance of art and science.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with campaign management tools like Prisma, DDS, Media tools, Ad Ops, etc.
  • Experience in the financial category and certifications such as Facebook Blueprint and Google Certifications are assets.
