Summary:
The Account Director is responsible for the sale of OneStream SaaS solutions within a specified territory. The role involves managing and growing existing customer relationships through renewals, expansion, uplifts, and cross-selling of additional solutions. It requires strategic planning, account management, and full ownership within the territory, aiming to retain and grow the solution footprint and meet or exceed sales quotas. The ideal candidate will have a strong SaaS sales background and a proven track record with existing accounts.
Location preference is Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, with travel up to 50% or more required for sales and company events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing customer base by understanding their needs and OneStream’s value proposition.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products/services.
- Manage CRM, sales pipeline, and proposals.
- Develop pipeline through direct prospecting and partner efforts.
- Act as a business partner to customers, providing consultative guidance.
- Communicate OneStream’s value effectively via presentations and marketing assets.
- Prepare joint business cases and align solutions with customer objectives.
- Develop and execute business plans to meet sales targets.
- Forecast and track sales opportunities accurately.
- Coordinate knowledge transfer internally and externally.
- Assess customer needs through research and discovery.
- Prepare proposals and SaaS agreements.
- Identify expansion opportunities within accounts.
- Develop comprehensive proposals for clients and prospects.
- Role model sales professionalism and potentially coach team members.
Required Education and Experience:
- 5-10 years’ experience in B2B enterprise sales, with a proven quota achievement record.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
- Experience engaging with C-level clients on complex SaaS solutions.
- Customer service experience evaluating needs and satisfaction.
- Ability to promote and sell products/services effectively.
- Knowledge of marketing, sales strategies, and business management principles.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Sales, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Previous software industry sales experience, especially in CPM/EPM.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and finance-related knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Professional, strategic, and highly organized.
- Ability to build rapport with C-level executives.
- Tech-savvy, flexible, goal-oriented, and willing to travel.
Travel: Up to 50% or more as needed.
