Job summary

Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is seeking an Accommodation Coordinator at 17 Wing Winnipeg. The role focuses on directing hotel operations, optimizing booking schedules and ensuring guest needs are met daily.

You will lead a team, coordinate with PSP units, and identify improvements to enhance the guest experience while supporting base activities and events.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.

  • Familiarity with housing or lodging operations is advantageous.

THE ROLE

Are you a team player with great interpersonal skills? Do you have proven hotel management skills? Are you a leader who is focused on exceeding guest needs while developing employee engagement? If so, we would like to meet you!

With 350 rooms and a maximum occupancy of 430, some of our guests are just passing through while others may stay for up to one year. This is no ordinary hotel operation. We are providing a service to the Canadian Armed Forces population, who are living, working and studying while staying with us.

Each day will be different as you coordinate the hotel/accommodation operations at 17 Wing Winnipeg. As the Accommodation Coordinator, you will use your expertise to manage a team, meet guest requirements, maintain the booking schedule and recommend improvements. You will also partner with other Personnel Support Program (PSP) entities to promote base activities and events.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
  • High school diploma

  • In applying policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
  • In developing marketing strategies
  • In coordinating events, recreational activities and entertainment
  • In business planning and resources, as required

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset
