Job summary

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is hiring a Corporate Security Access Coordinator to develop, coordinate, and administer TTC key programs, access systems, and ID/pass programs. You will coordinate audits, manage key stock, and ensure compliant, secure access across TTC facilities.

You will work with security platforms like C-CURE and Genetec, handle parking tag programs, and support policy development while maintaining detailed records and databases.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field and related administrative work experience.
• Good knowledge of security systems, business administration concepts, contract administration methods and record-keeping principles.
• Good knowledge of research methods and techniques.
• Well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills; and effective oral and written communication to deal with people at various levels.
• Proficiency in PC and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other software databases.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with key coordinators and approvers to ensure proper authorization for high-security key requests.
• Review, evaluate, and approve or deny key requests and maintain accurate documentation.
• Schedule and coordinate annual key audits; analyze results and reconcile issues.
• Maintain key stock, prepare requisitions, conduct annual inventory, and handle disposal documentation.
• Analyze monthly former-employee documentation to recover keys and update records.
• Coordinate with RSEM (Locks), Stations and ITS on re-keying and new key IDs; update related systems.
• Administer enterprise access ecosystem; integrate manual keys with C-CURE, Genetec and other platforms for role-based access.
• Administer the C-CURE access control system; manage and track access card records.
• Coordinate and administer TTC identification passes for employees, pensioners, contractors and others.
• Coordinate Parking Hanger Tag program requisitions, transfers and returns.
• Assist in developing or revising program policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Coordinate annual and ad hoc key and access audits; identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
